I INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION "BEST UNIVERSITY PUBLICATION IN THE FIELD OF LAW ENFORCEMENT"

Today, the Library of the Leader of the Nation hosted the awarding of the winners of the International Competition among legal scholars for the best university publication in the field of law enforcement. The event is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan and the formation of the prosecutor's office of the country. The competition is organized by the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office together with the Library of the First President - Leader of the Nation in order to increase interest in the printed editions of domestic and foreign authors in the law enforcement industry, strengthen intercultural cooperation and scientific ties.

The Rector of the Academy Ulan Baizhanov delivered a welcoming speech. – There are not many good books, especially in the law enforcement sphere. Therefore, the idea arose to hold such an international competition in order to collect the best ideas of our colleagues. Exchange experience. The competition aroused great interest. For half a year, we received about 300 publications in 11 nominations from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia. They were evaluated by scientists, practitioners, MPs, public figures. 

- It is very symbolic that the event takes place within the walls of the Library of the Leader of the Nation. This is the final chord of our fruitful cooperation with the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies this year. Ahead of us are new plans and their implementation. The works of the contest participants will take their important place in the process of this interaction.These works make it possible to broaden the horizons, increase the personal competence of law enforcement officers, - Timur Shaimergenov, Deputy Director of the Library of the Leader of the Nation, noted in his greeting.

According to the results of the competition in the nominations "The best publication in the field of crime prevention and prediction" and "The best publication in the field of prosecutorial supervision and compliance with the rule of law", the winners were textbooks prepared by a group of scientists from the Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation. The best publication in the field of criminal policy was the textbook of representatives of the Kyrgyz National University named after. J. Balasagyn. The book by a group of researchers from the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan won in the nomination "The Best Publication in the Field of Cooperation between Law Enforcement Agencies".

The best publication on combating certain types of crimes was a monograph by representatives of the Chuvash State University named after I.I. I.N. Ulyanova, Russia. The book of the team of authors of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after. Sh.Kabylbayeva was awarded in the nomination "The best publication in the penitentiary sphere." In the nominations “The best publication in the field of information security” and “The best publication in the prevention of drug addiction and drug business”, the textbooks of the team of authors of the Kazan Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia were awarded. The educational and practical manual of a group of researchers of the University "KAZGUU" was awarded for the best publication on the anti-corruption activities of the state.

The monograph of the researchers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan was recognized as the best publication on the problems of the criminal process, forensic science and the theory of operational-search activity, and the textbook of representatives of the Arbitration Court of the Ivanovo Region of the Russian Federation became the best publication in the field of combating administrative offenses. Also, the results of the annual interuniversity competition among the member universities of the Republican Educational and Methodological Association in the specialty "Law Enforcement" were announced. This competition is organized for the purpose of moral stimulation of the teaching staff, as well as the improvement of the educational and methodological system of education and encouragement of authors to prepare the required educational literature. The winners in the nominations "Best Textbook", "Best Monograph", "Best Associate Professor", "Best Lecturer" and "Best Young Scientist" were awarded. The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
