The election system in the Republic of Kazakhstan was discussed today during an online lesson organized for students of No. 77 school-gymnasium in Nur-Sultan. The aim of the lesson was to explain the basics of electoral law to the children. As stated in the Constitution, the fundamental principle of the organization of state power in Kazakhstan is free elections, and the holder of sovereignty and the only source of state power is the people, whose younger generation, current schoolchildren, are the future builders of the state, who continue the path of development and creation.
Leading researcher of Social and Educational Projects Department of the Library of Elbassy A. Ospanova told the guys about the main stages of formation of the electoral system in Kazakhstan, the presidential election, as well as about the primaries currently taking place in the country - internal elections of the party "Nur Otan", which will allow filling the ranks of the Party with active people of the new formation.
In the practical part of the training, the children shared their opinions on the topic and carried out tasks aimed at improving their oratorical and communication skills. An interesting and exciting part of the lesson was a game in which children chose the School President. The 10th graders Mukhanbetzhan Daryn and Damkhan Damkhan delivered their presentations on the topic "I participate in the elections."
Mukhanbetzhan focused on the development of the school self-government system, which, in his opinion, will become an effective tool in encouraging students to engage in sports and art. Damkhan Damkhan, in turn, emphasized that as the School President, he would make every effort to develop his native language, as well as strengthen the work to keep the school clean and tidy.
At the end of the lesson, the students shared catchphrases and quotes from prominent figures in the history of mankind. In turn, the lecturer A. Ospanova quoted to high school students from the article "Spiritual Testament of Abai" by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy N. Nazarbayev: "I am sure that Abai's words and ideas, which serve as the cornerstones of our modern everyday life, will continue to find concrete implementation in our creative deeds and progressive aspirations."
