Today, November 5, 2021, at the National Library under the Administration of the President of Turkey the grand opening of the exhibition “Kazakhstan way. Turkic unity” took place.
The international exhibition project dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was organized by the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy in cooperation with the Corporate Foundation “Elbasy Academy”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Turkey.
The purpose of the exhibition is to show the main stages of the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a result of the implementation of Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev’s modern Kazakhstan statehood concept.
“The Republic of Turkey became the first country in the world recognized the Independence of Kazakhstan on December 16, 1991. Kazakhstan people highly appreciate this historic step of the fraternal people and will always remember this. "Kazakhstan and Turkey are fraternal people, whose common roots lie in ancient times" - said the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. The name of our exhibition is “The Kazakhstan way. Turkic unity” and it is no coincidence. The event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan and the role of the Turkic states in the formation and prosperity of our country” - said Bakytzhan Temirbolat, director of the Elbasy Library, opening the event.
“Exhibitions of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy have already taken place in Russia, Japan, and today in Turkey. This is a very important event that takes place on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. The name "Kazakhstan way. Turkic unity" speaks about the huge contribution of Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev to the revival of the Turkic world, to gaining Independence of Kazakhstan and about his role in the modern modernization of the state " - said the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Turkish Republic Abzal Saparbekuly.
The congratulatory address of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan was read by the director of the National Library under the Administration of the President of Turkey Ayhan Tuglu: “Kazakhstan plays a leading role in the creation and institutional development of such organizations as the Turkic Council, TurkPA, TURKSOY and the Turkic Academy. Energy in these processes is given to us by the unshakable principles of the wise leader of the Turkic world, the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev makes a great contribution to the successful development of cooperation between the countries of the Turkic world. We are confident that by strengthening linguistic, historical, spiritual bridges between our peoples, we will achieve lasting unity in all matters".
Materials from archival, book, and museum funds of the Elbasy Library are presented to the visitors of the exhibition, which consists of three sections. These are more than 400 items of storage, including items from the collection of clothing, weapons, military and horse equipment, jewelry, artifacts on the history of Kazakhstan at various stages of the struggle for independence. Among them, for example, the Kazakh saber, bracelets and rings of the 19th century.
The materials of the section "Country of the Great steppe: between the past and the future" through the demonstration of museum exhibits and archival documents visually acquaint with the history of Kazakhstan, form an "immersion effect" in the environment that formed the personal qualities of the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, will acquaint with the program theses of his article "Seven facets of the Great steppe". The exposition will feature an ethnographic complex, jewelry, items from the collection of clothing, weapons, military and horse equipment, as well as paintings by famous Kazakh and Russian artists.
The section "Kazakhstan way" reveals the content of the strategies of state development of Kazakhstan after gaining independence, key reforms aimed at the transition from a totalitarian system to democratic freedoms and economic diversity, which became the core of successful, stable formation of modern statehood. The section displays an archival complex of photo and video materials; museum collection of insignia of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.N. Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan’s and international public awards, gifts from the participants of the Congress of world and traditional religions.
The section "Turkic unity" through a collection of awards, diplomatic gifts from the first leaders and heads of delegations of the Republic of Turkey, official documents and personal correspondence of the leaders of the two countries clearly demonstrate the high level of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey, as well as the ideas of Turkic unity, illustrated by an extensive archive and book complex from the Personal library and the Personal archive of Elbasy.
Exhibition “Kazakhstan way. Turkic unity ” allows you to refer to the main political initiatives of N.А. Nazarbayev, who, thanks to their content, have found a positive response from the world community and have brought tangible results for the whole world today.
