On February 11, the new building of the museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy hosted the grand opening of a solo exhibition of the famous painter, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kamil Valiakhmedovich Mullashev.
– We all know the name Kamil Mullashev, which has become a real brand and a classic of the fine art of Kazakhstan. The First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N. A. Nazarbayev elevated the revival, preservation and promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of the country to the rank of state policy. The legacy of Elbasy in the field of culture can be represented by the formula: the revival, the renaissance of culture – the formation of the cultural code of the nation - the renewal of the foundations of spirituality. I am pleased that today it is the exhibition of Kamil Valiakhmedovich that opens the work of the new scientific and exhibition partner project "Cultural Code of Independence". We are launching this project in the year of celebrating the 30th anniversary of our country's independence. It is aimed at comprehensive work on the accumulation, study and popularization of the achievements of our outstanding contemporaries - cultural and scientific figures, said Director of the Library of Elbasy Bakytzhan Temirbolat, opening the exhibition.
On behalf of the Minister of Culture and Sports Aktota Raimkulova, Vice-Minister, Nurkisa Daueshov, congratulated the artist on the opening of the solo exhibition and expressed gratitude for his great contribution to the development of Kazakhstan's culture and fine arts, as well as for many years of fruitful work.
The event also included a presentation of the catalog of the artist's works, published in association with the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Astana International University, as well as an autograph session.
- I want to say that Kamil Valiakhmedovich, having worked for about three years at our university, as a professor, has brought a special spirit of creativity into our work. And it is a great honor for us that he continues to create and train young talents within the walls of our university. The publication of the catalog of his works and this exhibition are a kind of report for a certain creative period. But I am absolutely sure that the best pictures and the best students, Kamil Valiakhmedovich, are still ahead of you, said Serik Irsaliyev, the President of the Astana International University.
The event was also attended by ambassadors and other representatives of the diplomatic corps of Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, India, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, Russia, North Macedonia, the Czech Republic and Japan, famous artists and heads of galleries, museums and cultural centers, art historians and artists.
- Kamil Mullashev is a man with a special vision, a real master of painting. He paints very subtly and at the same time accurately, realistically. In all his works, you can feel his soul and his roots. I think everyone who sees the paintings of this master, enjoys his work and admires his talent, said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan Andre Carstens.
The exhibition features about 30 works by the artist created in the period from 1974 to 2017. Different in genre, style, mood, paintings of the artist allow to see all the multifaceted nature of his talent and find yourself in the "artistic world of Kamil Mullashev".
The exhibition will run until February 27, 2021.
