On January 29, the staff of the Service for Social, Humanitarian and Educational Projects of the Elbasy Library held a master class "Elbasy zhane madeniet mereii" for teachers of the capital's schools. The event was held within the framework of the Open Day “I will take you to the museum”.
Deputy Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Botagoz Kaipova greeted the participants and introduced the guests of the master class.
- The Elbasy library, guided by key program documents associated with the name of the First President Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, at the same time directly linking them with educational processes, is trying to provide the pedagogical community with all possible assistance. This event is held annually by us within the framework of a special program, the purpose of which is not only to popularize the existing stock collections, but also to foster patriotism, love for culture, customs, traditions of the native land,-she said.
During the master class, researchers talked about the possibility of using the museum space of the Elbasy Library in the implementation of the history curriculum under the Tugan Zher program, presented methodological and informative recommendations, shared with the teachers their experience in conducting museum lessons “Kazakhstan Respublikasyndagy Sailau zhuyesi”, “Institute of Batyrism: Traditions, Status and Armament", "Elorda - Beybitshilik Kalasy", "Olympic Champions of Kazakhstan". These classes follow the curriculum for the subject of history. At the end of the master class, the organizers and participants held a discussion and summed up the results.
All participants of the seminar were awarded certificates. The teachers expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the scientific, methodological and advisory assistance.
A tour of the new museum building was also conducted for the teachers.
- This is not our first joint event. For ten years now, teachers have been receiving additional knowledge and skills here, get acquainted with new methods, which are then used in the classroom, awakening in schoolchildren a love of knowledge, interest in the educational process. The new building of the Library Museum is of great interest to both teachers and students, because unique content is concentrated here, telling about the history of our independence, - said the methodologist of the Nur-Sultan City Education Department Daira Amirgalieva.
