In Ankara a meeting of the delegation of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy with the General Secretary of TURKSOY Dyusen Kaseinov took place.

During the conversation the head of the Elbasy Library Bakytzhan Temirbolat noted that in the context of the large-scale activities of TURKSOY aimed at strengthening brotherhood and friendship between the Turkic people, the Elbasy Library sees a wide range of prospects for cooperation.

Let us remind you that on March 17 this year the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Elbasy Library and TURKSOY (International Organization of Turkic Culture). The purpose of the document is to implement joint cultural, educational and research projects to study the history of the formation and development of Turkic culture. The parties plan to conduct scientific, educational, creative projects and programs, exhibitions, forums, conferences and other socially significant events.

In addition, representatives of the Elbasy Library visited the Ataturk memorial in Ankara.

On November 5, within the framework of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the upcoming 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey, the Elbasy Library together with the Elbasy Academy, with support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Turkey and the Administration of the President of the Turkish Republic, opened in the National Library under the Administration of the President of Turkey in Ankara the exhibition “Kazakhstan way. Turkic unity”.

On the same day, the International conference "The Turkic world: history, modernity, future" was held with the participation of prominent political and public figures of Kazakhstan and Turkey. During the event, memorandum of cooperation between the Elbasy Library and the National Library under the Administration of the President of Turkey was signed.
