A REGULAR MEETING OF THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF THE LIBRARY OF THE ELBASY WAS HELD

On June 28 of this year, a regular meeting of the Academic Council was held under the chair of the Deputy Chairman of the Academic Council - Deputy Director of the Library of Elbasy, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov.

Opening the meeting, Amerkhan Muratpekovich announced the issues on the agenda.

On the first item of agenda, the head of the Archival Work and Informatization Department, Eran Maguzumov, spoke. He presented to the members of the Council a guide to the funds of the Personal Archive of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, prepared for publication. Part 2 (80-90 XX century)".

- The guide recommended for printing is a reference book on the main structural funds of the Personal Archive of the State Head. This publication is a continuation of the guide to the funds of the Personal Archive of the Head of State. The first part of the guidebook, published in 2017, details the purpose and objectives of the guidebook, the rules for its use. The collection includes video materials from 1940 to 1980, which are analyzed, described and catalogued," Yeran Kudysbekovich said.

A collection of materials of the international scientific and practical conference "Astana - beibitshilik kalasy", a catalog of postage stamps dedicated to the Olympic Games (from the collections of the Museum of the Elbasy Library), a workbook of the ABC guide for children were considered by the members of the Academic Council. Also, a catalog "Alem halyktaryn muzykalyk asaptary" (from the collections of the Museum of the Elbasy Library), an album "Tenge – tauelsizdigimizdin aishykty belgisi", collection of materials of the round table "The Institute of the Presidency - the basis of modernization of the political system of the Republic of Kazakhstan" were discussed and recommended for publication.  Each work submitted to the Academic Council is the result of many years of creative research and in-depth scientific research by the staff of the Elbasy Library.

The participants of the meeting congratulated the leading expert of the Social and Educational Projects Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Kunsulu Issinova on her election to the Dissertation Council of S.Toraighyrov PSU.

The Academic Council expressed specific opinions and considered all issues on the agenda during the meeting.
