ДЕНЬ ОТКРЫТЫХ ДВЕРЕЙ «Я ПОВЕДУ ТЕБЯ В МУЗЕЙ»

Today, Doors Open Day was organized in the Library of Elbasy for students of the Pedagogical College of the Astana International University. The title of the event – "I will take you to the museum" - calls on young people to learn and study the history of their country, say employees of the Social, Humanitarian and Educational Projects Service.

Welcoming the visitors, Deputy Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Botagoz Kaipova told them about the program of the event and wished the youth unforgettable impressions from exploring the unique exhibits.

For future teachers, guided tours "Institute of Batyrship: traditions, status and weapons", "Olympic champions of Kazakhstan", as well as a master class "The capital is the city of the world" and a methodical seminar "My lesson in the museum" were held. In addition, students took part in a quest dedicated to the history of Kazakhstan's independence.

In addition to getting acquainted with the expositions of the Library of Elbasy, where unique collections of exhibits and archival documents are featured, participants were able to study the experience of using museum pedagogy in the educational space of the school and using the museum space of the Library of Elbasy in the implementation of the course on the history of Kazakhstan. The researchers shared methodological and informative recommendations, answered students' questions.

– The Doors Open Day at the museum was wonderful. The museum is well equipped, using modern technologies. We received a lot of useful information, which was presented in a very accessible way. We saw how much work is being carried out by the museum, including the popularization of our history, the formation of patriotism and citizenship among the younger generation. We are very grateful to the staff of the Library of Elbasy for the educational event, for the opportunity to adopt the best practices, for their advice and recommendations. I think in the future we ourselves will be able to conduct lessons for students using the museum space", said Yelzhan Kenzhebek.
