- Young people should be active and competent in order to show the world our culture and traditions that have been preserved since time immemorial. Elbassy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev has always paid special attention to the comprehensive development of youth, saying: "Our era is a time to compete not in growth, but in the mind." Such debate tournaments contribute to the intellectual development of the individual, communication skills, and public speaking skills. Our Debate Club "Akikat", which next year will be 10 years old, already has its own audience and achievements. I am sure that in the future the Club will achieve its goals, forming the need for modern youth to participate in society, synthesize knowledge, study and explore important modern problems, said Deputy Director of the Library of Elbassy Botagoz Kaipova, opening the intellectual online tournament, and wished good luck to the participants.
