On November 27 the presentation of the book "Nursultan Nazarbayev. Biography" in Azerbaijani language took place in the Library of the Elbassy.
The event was attended by Makhmoud Kassymbekov, Head of Chancellery of the President of the Republic of the Kazakhstan, Ali Hassanov, aide to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on social and political issues, Darkhan Kydyrali – President of International Turkic Academy.
Project Manager and author of the book is the Head of Chancellery of the President of the Republic of the Kazakhstan, the acting Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy, doctor of political Sciences, Professor Mahmoud Kassymbekov. For many years, he working directly subordinate to the head of state and is professionally engaged in the study of the presidency.
Makhmoud Kassymbekov noted in his welcome speech:
– Of course, the release of the book into Azerbaijani language is a sign of respect of the brotherly Azerbaijani people to the people of Kazakhstan and Head of state. This book was published in Kazakh and Russian languages five years ago and during that time has been translated into English, German, Korean, Arabic, Hungarian, Serbian and Chinese. It is symbolic that this book is published in Latin script when is solving the important question of the transition to the Latin alphabet in Kazakhstan.
Makhmoud Bazarkulovich expressed gratitude to the initiators and organizers of book translating. There are Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, doctor of historical Sciences, Professor Ali Hassanov; Deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, doctor of philosophical Sciences Javanshir Fayziev; well-known Azerbaijani journalist, the editor of the magazine "Discovery Azerbaijan", the translator Aida Aivazova; President of the International Turkic Academy, Professor Darлhan Kydyrali.
Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, doctor of historical Sciences, Professor Ali Hassanov, said:
– I am here today not only as the assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, but also as the author of the Preface. For me it was a great honor to prepare an introductory article to this very interesting work. This vividly tells the story of the First President of the Great steppe country, one of the brightest and most respected elders of the Turkic world, who devoted his life to selfless service to the people. The holding of this event on the eve of the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan and the year of celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries is symbolic and meaningful. Take this opportunity to congratulate all Kazakhstani people on these remarkable holidays. I Express my gratitude to the Head of Chancellery of the President of the Republic of the Kazakhstan, doctor of political Sciences Makhmoud Kassymbekov for fundamental work that will enable readers not only to trace the different phases of life and political activities of the founder of modern Kazakhstan, but also to explore the little-known facts about his life and the destiny of the Leader of the Nation to disclose important pages of the newest history of the state. This is one of the brightest historical and biographical works dedicated to the prominent political leader of our time.
"The great Kazakh poet Olzhas Suleimenov called the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, a Master with a capital letter in his memoirs. We can say the same about the other aksakal of the Turkic world – respected Nursultan Nazarbayev that Kazakhstan people are proud to call the Elbassy," writes in the Preface, Ali Hassanov.
According to him, the result of the wise policy of Nursultan Nazarbayev is the fact that today in Kazakhstan there is stability, there is a strong peace between peoples and nationalities living in it formed a society with multicultural values. In this country the representatives of more than 130 Nations, including the Azerbaijanis coexist in conditions of civil peace and national solidarity.
Darkhan Kydyrali in his speech focused on the importance of this event for the Kazakh-Azerbaijani relations:
– There are such wise words that the story gives birth to great personalities and great leaders create a great story. The introduction of the book into Azerbaijani language, prepared by Mr. Ali Hassanov noted that the Head of state is a recognized global leader. He is the backbone of not only Kazakh but also all Turkic people. Symbolically, on the initiative of President Nursultan Nazarbayev TurkPA, the Turkic Academy established at the home city of the founder of independent Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in Nakhechivan in 2009.
The book represents the first experience of official historical and biographical study of the life and activities of N. Nazarbayev. It traced a path from the simple rural young man to the national leader. The focus is on the political biography of the President, which is given in historical retrospect of dramatic and controversial events and processes that accompanied the development of Kazakhstan at the turn of XX-XXI centuries.
Based on an extensive archival material, the biography is a significant source of documentary on the recent history of Kazakhstan. It, along with the significant photo material for the first time authentic reproduced the copies of personal documents, allowing the readers to experience the described events.
Translation from Russian into Azerbaijani was carried out by the winner of the Highest media prize of Azerbaijan and a media award in the name of Ismail Gasprinsky of the International Turkic Academy, the journalist-publicist Aida Eyvazova. The number of consultants – President of the International Turkic Academy, Professor Darkhan Kydyrali and the doctor of philosophy, Deputy of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly of Azerbaijan) Javanshir Fayziev. Last year when we were at the forum "the Great Steppe", were acquainted with the works published in Kazakhstan. Particular attention was drawn to the book about Nursultan Nazarbayev. We immediately decided to translate it into Azerbaijani language and present in Azerbaijan. Why did such idea come? Because Azerbaijan has a very big interest to Kazakhstan and its Leader. Nursultan Nazarbayev has a great reputation, causes sincere respect, in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, other fraternal Turkic States and, therefore, of great interest to his biography.
"The Book "Nursultan Nazarbayev. Biography" is a great gift for Azerbaijanis living in Kazakhstan from the point of view of preservation of the native language", – noted in the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan.
Representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of academies of Sciences of Bashkortostan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan, Turkey, domestic and foreign scientists and public figures have attended the presentation.
