DAY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT IS DEDICATED

On November 16 at the Mazhilis (meeting) hall of the Museum of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy for pupils of the school-lyceum No. 60 was held the lesson-excursion «Nursultan Nazarbayev the founder of independent Kazakhstan» from the cycle «The exhibits are talking...»

This hall was used for the meetings of the Head of state with the government of the country, heads of structural divisions of the Presidential Administration, akims (mayor), heads of ministries and departments, other officials. There took place expanded meetings of the President with the representatives of the international, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, mass media.

Nowadays there is the exposition «Republic of Kazakhstan: strategy of state development». During the lesson Dametken Kushunova research officer of the Scientific and applied research service acquainted students with the main directions of socio-economic and political development of modern Kazakhstan. The unique archival documents on the recent history of the country, photo and video materials revealing the pages of life and activities of the Head of State were presented to the listeners.

– The country went through a difficult way with the attainment of independence. The political and economic crisis of the early 90s of the XXth century practically left no chance for a stable and successful development. The foresight of the political leader of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultsn Nazarbayev, his ability to realize the full measure of responsibility before the present and future generations, skillful policy managed to direct the vector of the country's development to the path of intensive development and stability – noted Dametken Kushunova.

At the exposition «Addresses of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to people of Kazakhstan» the lecturer revealed the historical significance of the program documents, noted that the addresses «Strategy «Kazakhstan-2050»: the new political course of the state» was the beginnig point and a kind of new impetus to the development of the state.

The original items that appeared at the inauguration ceremony of Nursultan Nazarbayev, recreating the solemn moment of the official inauguration of the head of state elected by the people, allowed the children to feel the importance of this event.

The pupils expressed special gratitude for the invitation to the lesson in the first President’s Residence in Astana, wishing to continue participate in the scientific and educational activities of the Elbassy Library.
