BINOM TANYM STUDENTS MET WITH THE WINNER OF THE PROJECT "100 NEW PERSONALITIES OF KAZAKHSTAN"

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the traditional meeting "Successful Youth is the Future of Independent Kazakhstan".

The students of the 10th grade of BINOM TANYM school had the opportunity to meet Batyrzhan Smakov, the winner of the national project "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan" 2018 in the category "Culture and Sports".

 Batyrzhan Smakov is a conductor of the Kazakh National University of Arts, the only countertenor opera singer in Kazakhstan, and a laureate of international competitions. His professional career began in 2010 when Batyrzhan went to study first in Georgia and then in Italy. In 2016, he received the title of "UNESCO's Artists for Peace" after a series of charity concerts to help the children of Syria. He is a member of the Union of Composers of Kazakhstan and the Union of Musical Workers of Kazakhstan, is a guest soloist of the Kazakhconcert, Astana Opera Theater, as well as a guest conductor of the Coro lirico Perla Verde Choir in Italy.

At the meeting, he told the children about the role of music for personal development, the power of its influence on a person, and urged them to work harder, be honest with themselves and others, acquire new knowledge, and constantly set new tasks and goals.

"I wish you all to fulfil yourselves, find your calling. Be curious. Spend less time on gadgets, and more time in libraries," B. Smakov admonished the participants of the meeting.
