On March 5, the two-day training seminar "The way to the future begins with everyone", organized by the Library of Elbassy for 50 high school students of Akmola and Almaty regions, was completed.
During lectures and seminars developed by the leading researchers of the Library, the children received important information and interesting facts of different stages of formation and development of Kazakhstan, including its modern history, learned about the current development priorities of our country, based on the Messages, strategic programs, articles and books of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy N. Nazarbayev. During the training and practical classes, high school students learned how to develop social projects and gained skills in leadership development. Schoolchildren from the regions got acquainted with the expositions of the Nazarbayev Center, the Museum of the Library of Elbassy and the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
– The pupils who came to our seminar this time pleased us with their approach to learning, their willingness to listen and comprehend. They did not just "absorb" information, they thought about it. It was clear from their questions and answers, from their burning eyes. I love working with pupils because they are inquisitive and serious. We talked about many serious things, moral things, for example, and I saw the response in their eyes. I think that if we have such young people, we can confidently look to the future, said Sagintay Berdagulova, a leading researcher of the Library of Elbassy, candidate of historical sciences.
The attendees also shared their impressions.
Kenzhaly Maymakov, a pupil of Kosshi secondary school No. 2 in Akmola region:
– For us, participation in such a seminar is a great honor, a great achievement, because not everyone is given the opportunity to undergo training with such lecturers. We have gained a lot of useful and important knowledge that will help us in further education and in achieving our goals in order to develop our country in the future. Personally, I learned a lot about our country, its history, and prospects.
Aziza Zharylkasinova, a pupil of school for gifted children of the village Kargaly, Zhambyl district of Almaty region:
– This is my first time in the Library of Elbassy. I really liked the exhibitions presented here. This is our history, very interesting exhibits related to the life and work of our First President. We were lucky that we were able to see them and thus touch the history of our country's independence. During two days of lectures, we got a large amount of information, and in practical classes we were able to apply new knowledge. The experience of creating projects and presenting them to the audience, working with interactive tables was very interesting and useful. We realized that the future of Kazakhstan depends on our development and our contribution. The training helped us learn our strengths.
Deputy Director of the Library of the President Botagoz Kaipova handed certificates of completion to students..
