The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, together with the Center for Modernization of Education in Nur-Sultan, held the event "Elımnıñ erkındıgı – täuelsızdık" for students and teachers of 14 secondary schools of the capital. The event was dedicated to the main state date of the outgoing year – the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.  
The event, held in the capital's gymnasium-school No. 63, was aimed at the formation and development of the historical consciousness of the younger generation.
The basis of the festival of historical events "Elımnıñ erkındıgı – täuelsızdık" was the article by Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe" and his idea of the need for an objective understanding of the role of the Kazakh people in global history. The participants staged historical events and facts described in the program article of the First President.
In the end, all teachers and schoolchildren who took part in the organization and holding of the festive event were awarded letters of thanks and memorable gifts of the Library of Elbasy.
On the same days before the holiday, the staff members of the Service for Social, Humanitarian and Educational Projects of the Elbasy Library held a lesson "Tūğyry biık Täuelsızdık!" for pupils of preparatory groups of kindergarten No. 44 "Urker" in Nur-Sultan.
During the lesson, the children were shown slides about the achievements of Kazakhstan during the years of independence, guests from the Library told about the history of the country, its state symbols, and also held games aimed at developing creative abilities and speech communication of children.
In their turn, the pupils of the kindergarten prepared dance numbers "Shashu", "Tu", performed the songs "Tauelsiz el ulany", "Otan", recited poems and presented their creative works. 
The team of the Urker kindergarten thanked the staff members of the Library of Elbasy for participating in the organization of the thematic event.
