THE AMBASSADOR OF THE KHASHIMIT KINGDOM OF JORDAN VISITED THE MUSEUM OF THE LIBRARY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN – ELBASY

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Yusuf Abdulgani visited the Museum of the Elbasy Library, located in the former residence of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev. In this building, Elbasy worked from 1997 to 2004 after the transfer of the capital to the center of the country. The atmosphere of working days of those years is recreated by the study, the reception room and meeting rooms, preserved in their original form. The guest of honor got acquainted with the unique expositions currently presented in the historic building.

During the visit, the ambassador was presented with unique exhibits reflecting the main stages of the formation and development of independent Kazakhstan through the prism of the life and work of N.A. Nazarbayev. In particular, the office of the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev, in which the history of the young state was created.

At the end of the exposition, Yusuf Abdulgani shared his impressions of the museum and left his wishes in the guest book, congratulating the people of Kazakhstan on the 30th anniversary of independence.

“This year Kazakhstan celebrates the 30th anniversary of the country's independence. I sincerely want to congratulate the people of Kazakhstan on such a significant date. Today, having visited the Museum of the First President, I admire the courage and spirit of the Kazakh people. I hope that in the future, both our countries will be linked only by friendship and agreement. Taking this opportunity, I want to thank the Library of Elbasy, which provided an opportunity to get to know the history of independent Kazakhstan more closely”,-he added.
