THE ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF THE LIBRARY OF ELBASSY CONTINUED ITS WORK

The meeting of the Academic Council was held today in the Library of Elbassy under the chairmanship of Director, Doctor of political sciences, Professor A. Rakhimzhanov. There were 6 main issues on the agenda. In addition, the Regulation "On the Titles of Honorary Chairman and Honorary Member of the Scientific Council of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy" was approved during the meeting. 

The scientific collection "Institution of the presidency in the Republic of Kazakhstan" is ready for publication. This was reported by the leading researcher of the department for social and educational projects Nazira Musina.  This work, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Institution of the presidency in our country, was prepared as part of the project of the Library of Elbassy "The phenomenon of the leader and the political legacy of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy N. Nazarbayev". The content of the collection, which reveals the background, stages of formation and features of the institution of the presidency in Kazakhstan, is based on documents from the Personal Archive of Elbassy and materials from the Library museum collection.

Deputy Director of the Library of Elbassy, Candidate of historical sciences Kulyaysha Aktayeva told about the work done on the scientific collection "25 years of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan". In preparing the collection, materials from the extensive museum collection of the Library were used, telling about the history of the creation and development of the Assembly - these are archival documents and unique exhibits. The collection is ready for printing.   

Materials from museum lessons 2019-2020 are also being prepared for publication. According to the Deputy Director of the Library of Elbassy, Candidate of historical sciences Botagoz Kaipova, the collection prepared according to the results of the city competition among teachers "Týǵan jer - tunǵan tarıh " included more than a hundred works. Sixteen of the best materials will be published as a teaching aid for schools.

 Head of the department for social and educational projects Kunslu Isinova reported on the preparation for publication of the materials of the international scientific and practical conference "Seven Facets of the Great Steppe: global peace and national-cultural roots". The collection is intended for researchers, teachers and students of universities, representatives of central and local executive bodies.

The meeting participants approved the Regulations "On the titles of Honorary Chairman and Honorary Member of the Academic Council of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy". Yerlan Aryn, head of the Innovation and Research Projects Department, spoke about the document in more detail. The titles are awarded to prominent figures who have made a contribution to strengthening the activities of the Library of Elbassy – scientists, state and public figures, scientists and educators.

During this meeting, the title of Honorary Chairman of the Academic Council of the Library of Elbassy was awarded to Head of the Office of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy, Doctor of political science, Professor Mahmud Kassymbekov. The title of Honorary Member of the Academic Council of the Library of Elbassy was awarded to: Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the VI convocation, Doctor of political sciences, Professor Kuanysh Sultanov, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbassy, Doctor of Law, Professor Igor Rogov, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Academician of NAS RK Garifulla Yesim, First Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, diplomat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tuleutay Suleimenov, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yersultan Bekturganov.
