On February 2, 2017, a museum lesson "My family tree is a part of the family tree of my country" was held for the pupils of the capital kindergarten No. 1 "Baiterek", aimed at introducing children to the culture of their people, fostering love and respect for their parents and their family.
An informative museum online lesson from the series "Exhibits have spoken..." is organized as part of the Educational Program of the Library of Elbasy under the scientific and educational project "Museum and Children (ABC-guide for the youngest)".
Young students in a playful way developed the skills to keep up and conduct a conversation, correctly and interestingly answer questions, demonstrated cognitive and creative abilities through various activities.
With special interest, the children studied traditional types of Kazakh military weapons. Photos from the Personal Archive of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy were also presented at the lesson.
"The lesson was very interesting, informative and exciting. The children learned a lot about warriors-batyrs, their significance for the Kazakh people and the country, their armor and weapons. Also during the lesson, the children got acquainted with such a concept as a family tree. We examined the family tree of the First President N. A. Nazarbayev and learned that his ancestor was Karasai-batyr. I am sure that such classes are very necessary for the future generation, as children should know their roots. Because, knowing their ancestors, descendants look to the future with pride. The students were asked to learn about their ancestors, to draw up their family tree and share the story with their classmates", said Alla Mikhailovna Irchenko, a kindergarten teacher, at the end of the lesson.
