Today, Doors Open Day was organized in the Library of Elbasy for students of the Pedagogical College of the Astana International University. The title of the event – "I will take you to the museum" - calls on young people to learn and study the history of their country, say employees of the Social, Humanitarian and Educational Projects Service.

The Herbert Hoover Presidential Museum is reopening

The Herbert Hoover Presidential Museum will be open to the public starting from October 19, 2021 for viewing of the permanent galleries on the life and times of Herbert Hoover and the temporary exhibit gallery, Leonardo da Vinci Machines in Motion.

The Research Room, the Museum Gift Shop and Public and Educational Programs remain closed at this time.

Students of Nur-Sultan colleges became participants in the next debate tournament of the "Akikat" club at the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. The competition was attended by 55 teams.

Topics for discussion are relevant issues that concern modern Kazakhstani society. Among them, trilingualism in Kazakhstan, inclusive education, the role of parents in the choice of a child's career, free internships.

On October 29, a delegation of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, accompanied by their Kazakh colleagues, visited the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.

On October 27, 2021, Madina Barahoeva, the head of the department for external relations and national policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Policy, and Press of the Republic of Ingushetia, a member of the Union of Composers of Russian Federation, a songwriter, a member of the Council of the Russian Peoples' Assembly and the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, chairman of the regional public organization "Assembly of Ingushetia people", Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Ingushetia visited the Library of Elbasy.

On October 26, 2021, students of 6-7 grades of schools-lyceum №54 and schools-gymnasium №86 took part in the quest-tour "Achievements of Independence", which took place in the museum of the Library of the President on the right shore.

The main purpose of the tour is the formation and upbringing of young Kazakhs in the spirit of patriotism and citizenship, understanding and comprehension of the value of our country’s independence and its achievements.
