Today in the Museum of Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy opened the exhibition "Historical choice. The Era of Independence". The event timed to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was organized within the framework of the scientific-exhibition project of the Library of Elbasy "Historical choice".  

Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Zhurinov

The President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the foremost Kazakh scientist in the field of electrochemistry Murat Zhurinov turned 80 years old.

A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the International Contest "Independence of Kazakhstan and Elbasy" among media professionals dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the Library of Elbasy.

Today, the Elbasy Library hosted an award ceremony for the winners of republican competitions of scientific articles among master`s and doctoral students "Kazakhstan in the global world: ways to improve national competitiveness" and research projects among schoolchildren "Independent Kazakhstan and Elbasy".

A lecture was given at the Library of Elbasy for students of the College of Management of Nur-Sultan within the framework of the elective course "Elbasytanu," dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the Elbasy Library Museum, within the decade dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the traditional movie week "Tungysh – the First" was held. 
The students of capital College of Management and College of Service and Tourism, and also pupils of school-lyceum № 76 named after A. Bokeykhan and Nazarbayev Intellectual school of physics and mathematics - all 215 people became the spectators of films showings.
