2000 SCHOOLCHILDREN VIRTUALLY USED THE ELBASY LIBRARY

In the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy develops new formats of communication with the audience. Thanks to digital platforms, online excursions on the Instagram and ZOOM platforms, virtual tours of the museum sites of the Library of Elbasy were the most popular.

On the eve of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Elbasy Library has organized a series of online excursions in the halls of First President’s former residence. The participants of these tours are 2,000 school students of the capital and Kazakhstan’s regions: Kh. Munaitpasov Republican sports school (310 people), Gymnasium school No. 31 (352 people), Semey Secondary school No. 10 (280 people), Satpayev Gymnasium named after S. Seifullin (268 people), Kyzylorda Secondary school No 176 (790 people). Under quarantine restrictions, pupils were able to visit the Museum space of the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan without leaving home.

For student youth of Kyzylorda, the online excursion was held jointly with the "Qosyl" youth resource center. The director of the Library of Elbasy, Rakhimzhanov Amerkhan Muratpekuly, welcomed the participants of the online excursion.

  

During the excursions, the staff of the Excursion Service of the Library of Elbasy showed the expositions of the Museum of the Library of the First President through a live broadcast on the Instagram social network. The students were told the history of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the multifaceted personality of the First President, as well as the role of the national leader in turning points in the state’s fate through the prism of the life and work of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, the creator of Kazakhstani statehood. The visitors were especially interested in the expositions of the Residence halls, the office of the First President of the country, as well as halls for ceremonies and high-level meetings.

The teacher of the Semey school No. 10 said, “We would like to express our gratitude to the leadership of the Elbasy Library for the opportunity given to the students of our school to listen to a fascinating and interesting excursion.”

The pupils of Kyzylorda secondary school No. 176 say, "Very informative. We received a lot of new information about the life and work of N.A. Nazarbayev, about the formation and development of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the leadership of our Elbasy. Please, conduct such broadcasts more often."

The students of Satpayev’s S. Seifullin Gymnasium wrote in the comments, "The Museum is simply fascinating, we especially liked the Dome hall. If there is an opportunity, we will definitely come to the capital to see the Museum and listen to the live tour."
