On August 4, 1944, all the inhabitants of the "shelter" were arrested and sent to concentration camps. Of the eight people, only Otto Frank, Anna 's father, who later published his daughter 's diary (1947), survived. Currently, the diary has been translated into 70 languages of the world and is presented to readers in Kazakh for the first time.

The exhibition "Anne Frank. History lessons" is organized to introduce the public to the history of Anne Frank. This story is about the world, in which she lived, about courage, indomitable strength of spirit, regardless of age. The exhibition makes you think about important categories of modern civilization: antisemitism, discrimination, persecution and, in contrast to them - about such values as freedom, equality, and democracy, about how important the history of Anne Frank is today.

The exhibition "Anne Frank. History lessons" has already visited more than 60 countries of the world, it was visited by 12 million people. The exhibition will run until February 16, 2020.
