On September 9 this year, at 17.00, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy (1a, A. Bokeikhan Street) will host the opening of the personal exhibition "Pandemic. Isolation. Take-off..." by the famous painter, graphic artist, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and publicist Zhenis Nurlybayev.
Continuing the graphic series "Silver Threads", the author evaluates the periods of forced isolation during the pandemic as a trigger that set in motion the mechanism of perception of emotional and psychological states of a person in the image of a bird flying out of a cage.
Zhenis Nurlybayev is the author of the emblem of the Year of Cultural Support (2000), winner of the presidential scholarship in 2009 and 2010. In 2013, under the authorship of J. Nurlybaev, a book on artists "Ak Zer" was published, which collects literary essays not only about prominent artists of our country but also about representatives of realism, hyperrealism, impressionism and about marinists with a world name.
In 2018, Zhenis Nurlybayev was awarded the nomination "Artist of the Year" according to the project "Zhyl Adami – 2018", held by the republican socio-political newspaper "Kazak Uni". The exhibition "Pandemic. Isolation. Take-off..." will last until September 27 this year.
