On January 26, at 15.00 in the Museum of the Library of Elbasy (11 Beibitshilik street) the exhibition of diploma works of graduates of Children's Art School - UNESCO Club Nur-Sultan "Tugan olkem" (Native country) will open within the framework of the Republican program to support children's creativity and organizations of additional education.
The exhibition will feature more than 50 works of graduates of the school, made in various techniques.
The Republican program "Tugan olkem", which appeared as a response to the program article of N. A. Nazarbayev "Rukhani zhangyru", is aimed at identifying young talents and popularizing the work of organizations of additional education in the Republic. The program has been implemented since 2018, during this time the Library of the Elbasy presented exhibitions of diploma works of graduates of Art Schools of Semey, Shymkent, Pavlodar, Ekibastuz, Karaganda, Shakhtinsk and Kokshetau.
The first exhibition of 2021 in the framework of the "Tugan olkem" program is presented by a long-time partner of the Elbasy Library - Children's Art School - UNESCO Club in Nur-Sultan.
Children's Art School - UNESCO Club Nur-Sultan was founded in 1983. Over the years, the school has developed its traditions and educational experience in the field of art education.
The school has numerous diplomas, certificates of prestigious competitions for children and youth creativity of the near and far abroad. In 2008, the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO awarded the school the status of a UNESCO Club. In 2017, according to the results of the city competition for a grant of the Mayor of the city, the school was recognized as the "Best Organization of Additional Education".
The exhibition will run until February 25, 2021.
