OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION «THE ARTISTIC WORLD OF KAMIL MULLASHEV»

On February 11 at 17.00 in the new building of the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy ( 1A Bokeikhan Street), the presentation of the catalog and the grand opening of the personal exhibition of the famous painter, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kamil Valiakhmedovich Mullashev will take place. The event will also include an autograph signing session. The catalog of K. V. Mullashev's works was published in association with the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Astana International University.

The exhibition will feature about 30 works by the artist created in the period from 1974 to 2017. His canvases, different in genre, style, mood, allow one to see all the versatility of his talent and find himself in the "artistic world of Kamil Mullashev".
The exhibition opens the work of a new research and exhibition partner project "Cultural Code of Independence", aimed at a retrospective presentation of the work of recognized authors whose works are in the collection of the Library of Elbasy. Contemporary works of art reflect the realities of the development of sovereign Kazakhstan and a special spirit of times. The works of well-known, established authors stood the test of time and can be regarded as a kind of tuning fork in the daily creative life of the country.
Currently, a number of works by K. Mullashev are in state storage in the Library of Elbasy and are the pride of the museum collection.
 

The exhibition will run until February 27, 2021.

 

Kamil Valiakhmedovich Mullashev was born on October 27, 1944, in Urumqi, China. In 1967 he graduated from N.V. Gogol Alma-Ata Art School and in 1978 the faculty of easel painting of V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute.
He is the participant of republican, all-Union and international exhibitions, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts and Khanshan Pedagogical Institute (PRC).
K. V. Mullashev is an Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, G. Tukai State Prize Winner of the Republic of Tatarstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an Honorary Member of the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan, Russia, China, a recipient of the order "Parasat" of the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the order "Duslyk" the Republic of Tatarstan.
His works were exhibited at the Grand Palais Salon (Paris), Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), the Presidential Center of Culture (Nur-Sultan), the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), the National Art Gallery "Khazine" (Kazan), A. Kasteev State Museum of Art (Almaty).
His paintings are in private collections in Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, France, England, the USA, Canada, Russia, Turkey, China, and Japan.
