On 4 June 2020, at 11.00 in the museum of Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbassy will take place a round table "Úmіtіn eldіń arqalap, armannan týǵan rámіzder" ("Symbols of the hopes and dreams of the people"), dedicated to State Symbols Day of Kazakhstan.
The event is aimed at discussing topical issues of creating state symbols as a key element in the formation of Kazakhstan's patriotism and national identity, respect for political symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The round table will be attended by Director of the Library of Elbassy A. Rakhimzhanov, Executive Director of the ALE "Congress of the youth of Kazakhstan" T. Bolysov, Chairman of the Republican youth movement of the APK "Jańǵyrý joly" – the Chairman of the Republican youth organization "Jarasym" T. Dzhumurbayev, the Director of "Ulan-ǵaıyr dala elі", a member of the Council on youth policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan V. Bakhretdinov, Director of school-Lyceum №54, the winner of the project "100 new personalities of Kazakhstan" Sh. Seisenbay, the actor of "Zhastar" theatre, one of the founders of the volunteer organization "Altyn jebe", the winner of the project "100 new personalities" A. Nurbek, teachers and students of universities and colleges of Kazakhstan, pedagogical community.
State symbols are the most important attributes of the country, embodying national and cultural identity, political values and goals of the state. They are a solid foundation of Kazakhstan's patriotism, an integral part of citizenship and continuity of generations. Knowledge of the history and meaning of state symbols expand knowledge about the country, form the civil maturity of the people.
Determining their significance, Elbassy stressed: "State symbols are one of the foundations of our state, our sovereignty. They express a sacred, unifying image of Independence."
