Conference organizers: Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy and the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation. The event is supported by the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan city Akimat.
Prominent foreign and Kazakhstani state, political and public figures, reputable scientists and experts will discuss the experience and results of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence as well as potential ways and prospects for further development.
At the plenary session "Frontiers and Milestones of Independence", greetings and reports will be delivered by: Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhukov, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Mami, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, ex - OSCE Secretary General, UN Special Envoy for Libya Jan Kubish, First Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev, former Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim, President of the Strategic Council for International Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran Kamal Kharrazi, Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University Gulmira Kanai.
In the format of video presentations, the plenary session will be attended by: ex-UN Secretary-General, President of the Global Institute for Green Growth Ban Ki-Moon, ex-Turkish President Abdullah Gul, ex-US Secretary of State James Baker, ex-German Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy.
The conference will also include three panel sessions - "History Lessons", "Society and Values", "Priorities for further development".
