INTERNATIONAL ART CONTEST "HERITAGE OF INDEPENDENCE"

The Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Children's Art School - UNESCO Club Nur-Sultan announce an international art contest among children and youth of Kazakhstan and Indonesia.
         The contest "Heritage of Independence" is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 76th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
         To participate, you should send a drawing made of any types of paints on paper or canvas of format A4 (crayons, colored pencils, watercolors, acrylic paints, oil paints, mixed media, etc.) on one of the proposed topics:
     - traditions in Kazakhstan or Indonesia;
     - legends/folklore of Kazakhstan or Indonesia;
     - sights of Kazakhstan / Indonesia (landscape and sights);
     - friendship between Kazakhstan and Indonesia;
     - celebrating Independence Day in your country.
         Recipient's address: Children's Art School- UNESCO Club, 17 Bogenbai Batyr Ave., 010000, Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
         Citizens of Kazakhstan and Indonesia aged from 10 to 17 years old inclusive can take part in the contest (group A: 10-12 years, group B: 13-15 years, group C: 16-17 years). The 50 best works from each country will be announced and posted on the organizers' websites on August 25, 2021. The winners of the contest will be announced on October 15, 2021, at the award ceremony in the Library of Elbasy.
         Four winners in each category from each country will receive certificates and exclusive gifts from the organizing committee.
         30 best works from each country will be presented at international exhibitions that will be held in the Library of Elbasy from October 15 to 30, 2021, and in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta from November 29 to December 17, 2021.
 

Please do not fold or roll your work, send it in a flat envelope. Make sure the work does not bend during transportation. On the back of your work, please indicate your name, address, age, age category, work title, parents' cell phone number and email address.  The works are accepted no later than August 20, 2021.
