On September 30, at 15.00, the Elbasy Library (A. Bokeikhan str., 1A) will host an award ceremony for the winners of the annual literary readings in social networks "V Abai Readings", dedicated to the birthday of the great Kazakh poet, composer, educator, thinker and public figure, the founder of Kazakh written literature and its first classic Abai Kunanbayev. The creativity of the great Abai is the pride of the national culture, the most important component of the cultural code of the nation, his name is widely known to the international reading community.
The project aims to provide information and image support for the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program as one of the global initiatives of Elbasy N. A. Nazarbayev and to popularize the literary legacy of Abai Kunanbayev among young people, to form a culture of reading, literary taste among Kazakh youth.
Social networks have become the optimal "meeting place" for users with strong reading experience and those who are just beginning to learn Abai's work. The project, aimed primarily at the youth audience, brought together representatives of different ages, professions, and regions of our country.
The event will be attended by Director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Bakytzhan Temirbolat, a state and public figure, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Mynbay, Director of the Research Institute "Abai Academy" of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Zhandos Aubakir, a well-known abaiologist, Professor of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Doctor of Philology Shakir Ibraev, as well as representatives of the pedagogical community of Nur-Sultan.
