On November 26, 2018, at 15.00, a gala concert and an award ceremony for the winners of the II Republican creative competition “Innermost strings of the soul: N.A. Nazarbayev’s songwriting” / “Konildin asyl pernesi: N.A. Nazarbaevtyn an shygarmashylygy”, dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The organizers of the competition are the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy, the Palace of Schoolchildren. M. Utemisova.
The project "Intimate strings of the soul: song creativity of N. A. Nazarbayev", developed by the Museum of the Library of Elbasy together with the Palace of Schoolchildren named after. M. Utemisova, implemented since 2015. Initially, the project was focused on educational institutions of the city of Astana. The popularity of the competition and the support of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy made it possible to bring it to the republican level since 2017. Since 2015, more than three thousand students of secondary schools of the republic have taken part in the competition.
The project is one of the forms of cultural and educational activities of the Library, aimed at preserving folk traditions and enriching the individual with moral categories, which are the basis of the patriotic idea "Mangilik El". The main objectives of the competition: the actualization of songwriting as the richest resource for the formation of personality, the identification and support of young gifted performers in various genres of musical art.
The project is based on the study and popularization of N.A. Nazarbayev’s songwriting, as well as the theme of the Head of State’s favorite songs.His songwriting reveals the unique facets of his personality as a person and citizen. Elbasy's favorite songs, his author's songs serve as the personification of the spiritual aspirations of the individual, reflect a reverent attitude towards the Motherland, people, country's history and traditions.
The competition, which started on September 1 this year, is gaining popularity in the republic. The competition commission received 150 applications from 100 educational institutions of the republic. This year, for the first time, the nomination “Kasietti dombyra” is included, dedicated to a new holiday - the National Day of Dombra, initiated by the Head of State.
The competition is held in 2 age categories from 12 to 14 years old, from 15 to 17 years old in three categories:
- "Babamnan kalgan ken dala" (performing songs to the verses of N. A. Nazarbayev);
- "On the wave of our President's favorite songs" (performing Elbasy's favorite songs);
- "Kasietti dombyra".
After the qualifying round, 60 nominees made it to the final of the competition. Solo performers, duets and vocal groups will present their skills to the jury.
The winners of prizes in previous years were representatives of various regions of Kazakhstan: Karaganda, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan, West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Almaty, Pavlodar, Akmola, etc.
The organizers continue to keep the intrigue: who this year will get the Grand Prix of the competition - "Golden Microphone", but they assure that not a single finalist will be left without attention.
