On November 28, 2016 at 15:00, the Library of the Leader of the Nation will host the opening ceremony of a cycle of events dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

November 25, 2016 at 14.30 in the Library of the Leader of the Nation will be awarded the participants of the Republican contest "Ideas that change the world."

The competition is held in order to identify innovative forms and ways of studying and using the ideas and initiatives of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in educational activities. The organizers of the republican contest "Ideas that change the world" are the Library of the Leader of the Nation and Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS).

For residents and guests of the capital, sightseeing tours are held around the library of the Head of State, the interactive educational center "Ideas that change the world", presidential expositions, which present unique exhibits (gifts from heads of state and their official representatives, works of art and historical rarities, photo and video materials , archival documents from the annals of the country).
